here go 100 selected songs from the catalogue of one of my favourite netlabels, eardrums pop, with songs by someone still loves you boris yeltsin, the motifs and dozens of many others. the file is huge, and it will be available in this form only until the end of august - i would recommend downloading it asap, and in any case before the summer.

songwriter violeta päivänkakkara comes from finland and plays an aerial indie pop with a penchant for touching experimental sounds. it could remind you of fonal records, or of day dreaming laying on the grass, or of floating over the moon, or of anything special and precious.

excellent noise attack by madrid’s hielo en varsovia. they mention as influences sonic youth and a few spanish post-punk bands. i can hear some unwound too. and that’s very good.

very nice single by UK the candy strypers, somewhere between the zombies and your indie t-shirt. his cover of the magnetic fields“born on a train” is my song of the day.

maybe they could have worked a little bit more on the cover, but despite the lazy design this is a great compilation, celebrating the first 50 releases of no-source netlabel with some exclusive tracks by known artists and introducing upcoming releases. you will find strange lo-fi pop by full-source, elegant modern pop by cocolixe, and many good surprises.

be sure not to miss this joyful release by colombian josé santamaría, alias [neuma]. he excells in making groovy instrumentals. “229 (pullovers y encajes)” is a hit.

japanese noine makes easy flowing IDM with subtle noises. which is not a bad idea.
